Consumer AI tools send your data to a vendor and answer from general training knowledge. Cortex runs inside your infrastructure, grounds every answer in your sources with verifiable citations, and lets you choose which models touch your data — including fully local ones.
Yes. The same binaries run in environments with zero internet connectivity, using local models via Ollama or vLLM. No phone-home, no telemetry, no external calls of any kind.
Anything LiteLLM can route: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Azure OpenAI, OpenRouter, HuggingFace — plus open-weight and local models through vLLM and Ollama. Routing policies let you decide which models serve which requests.
Never. Your content stays in your storage, inference goes to models you choose, and DoozieSoft never receives your documents, queries, or embeddings. Indexes and memory live on your infrastructure.
Cortex is evidence-based by design: answers are generated from retrieved sources, every claim carries a citation you can open, and the system can be configured to refuse rather than speculate when evidence is insufficient.
